The path that led me here.

I'm Cindy Frigard, a strategist based in Denver, Colorado. My husband, Eric, and I co-founded our creative studio, Similar Blue, in 2006 after we fled the corporate world—me in advertising, him in car design. Our studio became a space where creativity and design met strategy, helping clients connect authentically with their audiences. We did it all—from TV and radio commercials to product and environmental design to company culture realignment.

Recently, the universe has been telling me to focus entirely on strategy—the space where I truly come alive and where I believe I can be of the most service. That shift led to Yours, Truly, a practice built around guiding people and brands through meaningful transitions with clarity, intention, and momentum.

My background includes roles at top ad agencies, including BBDO, Chiat/Day, Team One, and GTB Detroit. And I’ve partnered with brands large and small—from the Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, CrossFit, and Habitat for Humanity to founder-led ventures like TaskRay, The VA Loft, and Velocity Plus. Over the years, I’ve also helped too many friends to count hone their resumes and networking approach.

In every case, I’ve worked behind the scenes to help people and brands achieve their their dreams and ambitions. I’ve been a part of creating new business pitches for global brands, supported speakers in developing their TED Talks, and built everything from sales and investor decks and business plans, to brands—in nearly every industry—from the ground up.

When I’m not working, you can find me hiking with a friend and our beloved baby, OK dog, Dude; devouring books, magazines, and podcasts; working out with the 6:30am crew at Train Denver (shout out to Brooke and her amazing team of coaches!), playing NY Times Games (The Mini, Wordle, Connections, the Crossword if time, in that order) watching Formula 1 (or at least the start…); attempting to crochet, doing a little yoga, or enjoying chips, guac, and a cold beer on a beach in Mexico. I especially love spending time with my husband, friends, and family (especially our nieces and nephews)—preferably over a good meal.
